2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alarm goes off randomly?
I just bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2005 (no guarantee), and am having problems with the alarm to leave to chance. At times during the day, sometimes in the middle of the night, sometimes outside, sometimes while in the heated garage, sometimes when using the wireless remote to open the door (not the panic button) ... is just really random and I can not say what is causing it. In addition, when using remote control to open the doors, blow the horn sometimes very strong, as the alarm is about to leave, but it is just a hoot. When closing the car with wireless remote, is not nearly as high. Any ideas what is causing this and how I can fix it (without just turn off the alarm)? Thanks!
change the battery in your control remote, our spark ford had a similar issue and ended up being the remote battery, just something to prove. good luck
