mood stabilizer destabilized my mood?
I was wondering if anyone had knowledge or experience in this. I have disorder panic disorder with agoraphobia. Taking 100 mg Zoloft and Ativan 0.5 mg 2-3 a day. I started to feel sore Zoloft, so my doctor thought it might be bipolar. Took one tablet of 25mg of Lamictal. The next day very nausea and depression. The next day he wanted to cut all the hair off, and kill me same. The next day I slept all day today. Today I'm starting to feel "normal" again. What the hell happened and what that means? My doctor wanted me to go to a mental institute and continue taking Lamictal. It makes no sense. Has anyone had a reaction like this? Does this mean I'm not bipolar?
If you have been diagnosed as bipolar disorder is not adverse to starting a new medicine. Although I personally believe that antidepressants are more valued and ineffective may follow the regimen prescribed by your doctor. Good luck.
