How can control anxiety / panic attacks?
What is the best treatment?
I am a counselor and I specialize in panic disorder. You should talk to a mental health professional to determine whether or not panic disorder, but assuming that to do: Good news, panic attacks are very treatable! We advise against the use of drugs, especially benzodiazepines such as Valium or Xanax, because they simply relieve symptoms no cure anxiety. The best treatment is to find a psychotherapist who specializes in behavioral therapy. Good Luck!
