I am looking for employment in the Criminal Justice field with clinical depression, is it possible?
I am currently sutdying criminal justice in college and I hope be an agent of the state police, I'm on medication for depression and works well, I have no suicidal or violent thoughts just get sad, but not to the point suicidal thoughts as I mentioned, my question is could I be employed as a police officer with clinical depression?
Remains only with depression under control, make sure you DO NOT stop your medication and see your pshchiatrist regularly as once a month. It is nobody's business whether or not they are so depressed that not have to say. The problem comes if you start to see changes for the worse within yourself. But if you follow what your doctor tells you then you should be fine. Put your mind that and you can do or be anything you want.
