Does anyone have any suggestions on what medication PRN (as needed) I can take for anxiety / panic attacks?

I Klonipin tried, Abilify, Buspar, Lexapro, Neurontin, Zoloft, and the list goes on and on. Ideally I'd like to take something that is not addictive as Xanex.

say PRN Ativan is used, I took it but feel they have not yet much of it. I had a good supply of Zoloft daily. However, I gained 30 pounds on Zoloft. I am in Prozac and 3 months after taking it, finally feeling better. Keep working on losing weight if Zoloft. I do not want to get addicted to xanax or valium so I have never taken. My doctor prescribes a beta blocker for panic attacks is called clonodine. I havent had to take still can not say how it works.

Prevent Anxiety Panic Attacks with Proper Diet

Acidic foods also make it hard for your body to eliminate toxins and reducing your resistance to stress making you weak. Stress is one trigger of anxiety.

Alkaline diet is calming and can prevent anxiety and panic attacks. Alkaline diet is more on fruits and vegetables like apple, oranges, pineapple, almonds, broccoli and cucumber. You need 80% alkaline diet to create balance in your body.

Avoid alcohol and caffeine. Drinking too much coffee can also cause anxiety and nervousness because it is a stimulant and it also causes sleep problems. Alcohol may have a calming effect at first but it eventually creates symptoms related to anxiety.

Watching what you eat and drink will help you prevent anxiety and panic attacks. Eating a well balanced diet and getting all the nutrients and minerals you need makes your body and emotions more stable.
