My doctor has prescribed my 6 years of age, xanax to treat anxiety?
Two milligrams three times daily. I can definitely say a difference, slurred speech, stumbling, etc. His teacher called me a while ago saying he was restless in class, and seemed anxious, so it took the doctor, I must say that although this drug appears to be too powerful for her age? Am I being over protective??
A therapist child would probably be able to help her feel better. She has to talk about what you are doing instead of just anxious to give the pills. If there is no support for take her to a therapist who works with children. Good Luck.
