Anxiety Attack or Panic Attack Symptoms:

...  any or all of the above!

what am i having?

It is easy to mistake one symptom for another and wonder, "Am I having a stroke? Am I having a heart attack? Or Am I having a panic attack??? You may put off calling 911 because you think maybe this could be "just" a panic attack? First off, be safe and call 911 NOW.

I may have made this mistake recently. As I am a patient of anxiety and depression, I thought I couldn't really be having a stroke or heart attack.... but did I? My doctor thinks I may have actually had a TIA (transient iscemic attack, also known as a mini stroke). And he told me that next time I have these symptoms to call 911.

Don't be embarrassed if it turns out to be a panic attack. Panic or anxiety attacks are not disorders to be ashamed of, and the symptoms and discomfort are very real.  I have had many anxiety attacks through the years. and I do take anti anxiety medicines and antidepressants. But sometimes when having a panic attack, I have such symptoms that could mean heart attack, and or symptoms that could mean a stroke.
